Long Night of Research 2024

Around 3,000 visitors attended the Long Night of Research at the Campus Akademie of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, where IQOQI Vienna was also stationed.

During the Long Night of Research on May 24, our scientists showed all interested parties how diverse, creative and entertaining their research can be. The overall aim was to bring the fascination of research to life for everyone.

At the IQOQI Vienna station, the audience could find out more about "Gravity, light and coins: What makes quantum physics so fascinating?" and especially experiments to demonstrate the wave-particle-duality of light.
