A local-realistic theory for fermions?

Fermionic modes can be described via a fully local model.

Fermionic modes can be described (in the Heisenberg picture of quantum theory) via a fully local model. I will discuss how this model is useful to highlight that fermionic quantum phases are (like all other phases in quantum theory) acquired locally. I will also speculate about what this might imply about the reality of fermionic q-numbered descriptors in the Heisenberg picture.
