Simons Science School in Chemistry and Physics visits IQOQI-Vienna

The Simons Science School in Chemistry and Physics was a one-week program for Ukrainian high school students who have excelled at science competitions. The agenda also included a visit to IQOQI-Vienna.

During their stay in Vienna, the participants of the Simons Science School in Chemistry and Physics engaged with cutting-edge research groups of the Austrian Academy of Sciences and the University of Vienna, among others.

On the 12th of September, they visited IQOQI-Vienna, where group leader Markus Müller first gave an insight into the history of the institute, followed by special lectures from our theoretical and experimental research groups and tours of the laboratories.

The visit culminated on the roof of the building at the Hedy-Lamarr-Telescope.
