All unitarily extensible bipartite processes are variations of the quantum SWITCH

I will show that all bipartite process matrices that obey a recently proposed unitary extension postulate are causally separable, i.e., their unitary extensions are just variations of the quantum SWITCH.

Such processes have realisations within standard quantum mechanics on time-delocalised quantum subsystems via what can be called coherent control of the times of the operations. I will discuss implications of this understanding, as well as the question of whether more general processes may have realisations on time-delocalised quantum subsystems.
